Writing Rhetorically

Prerequisite: First-Year Writing Placement Essay score of 3 or SAT Verbal between 550-639 By intensive practice in composing persuasive texts, writers explore various techniques for discovering, developing and organizing ideas in relation to rhetorical context. Special attention is given to developing an effective writing process and an awareness of the relationships among text, audience and purpose.
