Arthur Lizie is a Professor of Communication Studies. His teaching interests include media and cultural studies, mainly film and popular music. He is heavily invested in study abroad, having brought students to more than half a dozen countries including Italy, Morocco, and Greece. His research interests include film and food studies, but have more recently focused on popular music, including recent books "Prince FAQ: All That’s Left to Know About the Purple Reign" and "Neil Young on Neil Young: Interviews and Encounters." He enjoys cooking and short-to-medium range walks on the beach, but spends much of his time at high school music and sporting events.
