Dr. Shin is a Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at BSU. He has been teaching various communication courses while continuously presenting his scholarly works at national/international academic conventions and publishing them in top peer-reviewed journals, including Communication Theory, International Journal of Communication, Review of Communication, Communication and Society, Journal of Community Psychology, Planning Theory, International Journal of Urban and Regional Research, Journal of Urban Technologies, International Journal of Architectural Research, International Journal of Development and Sustainability, and Asian Journal of Information and Communications. As an interdisciplinary communication scholar, he is working on various community development projects with colleagues in other disciplines and his students.
