Dr. Kristen Buchanan brings over 20 years of experience as a School Counselor, guiding students through the stages of their high school journey. She is passionate about helping students discover who they are and navigate their post-secondary paths—whether toward college, technical education, a career, or military service. Her work is informed by the frameworks and ethical standards of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), the Massachusetts School Counselors Association (MASCA), and the New England Association for College Admission Counseling (NEACAC). She holds a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Bridgewater State University and earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Northeastern University. She now shares her experience and insight with future counselors as an adjunct professor, blending real-world practice with academic foundations.
