Dr. Victoria L Bacon is Professor Emerita of Counselor Education (1996-2022), licensed psychologist and founding chair of the department. She is recipient of a Presidential Fellowship for her six-year Legacy Group Project providing pro-bono groups in the community resulting in the book, Conducting Wellness Groups for Veterans and Older Adults (2023); Routledge. Dr. Bacon has numerous publications and presentations as well as serving various leadership positions at BSU: Co-Chair of NECHE Steering Committee, Chair of the Graduate Education Council, Teaching Fellow for CART along with other contributions. Lastly, Dr. Bacon is grateful for the opportunity to educate and train students in Counselor Education.
