Adam Brieske-Ulenski received his doctorate in education with a specialization in literacy from the University of Central Florida. Previously he attended SUNY Oneonta to earn a bachelor's degree in elementary education, SUNY Albany for a master's in being a literacy specialist B-6, and Stetson University for a EdS Degree in Educational Administration K-12. His research focuses on literacy leadership, specifically the role of the literacy coach and reading specialists. His work has been published in The Reading Teacher, The Reading Professor, The Teacher Educator, the Primer, Voices in the Middle, among others. He regularly presents at international, national, and state conferences. Recently, he was a reviewer for the Primer Journal. He teaches undergraduate and graduate reading education courses, with one undergraduate course taught off campus as part of a pre-practicum experience for pre-service educators.
