Xiangfei Chen is an Assistant Professor of Statistics at Bridgewater State University. He received his PhD in Statistics and has expertise in both theoretical and applied statistics. His teaching includes courses in statistical methods, statistical programming in R, probability and statistics for teachers, with a focus on building students’ analytical thinking and practical data skills. Dr. Chen’s research focuses on distribution theory, statistical methodology, and Bayesian inference. His work aims to develop the foundations of a new statistical inferential procedure, bridging theoretical foundations with real-world applications in areas such as finance, health, and interdisciplinary data analysis. In his spare time, Dr. Chen enjoys folk music and hiking.
