Dr. Stephanie Penley is a systems neuroscientist who is primarily interested in understanding sex differences in the behavioral and neuroanatomical consequences of neurodevelopmental disruption using animal models. She also collaborates with a very active research group dedicated to developing and assessing the Psychology Peer Mentoring program with the goal of uncovering the “hidden curriculum” in higher education in improving student success. She teaches Biopsychology, Neuropsychopharmacology, Research Methods, and Peer Mentoring in Psychology. Dr. Penley also loves the outdoors, is an avid crafter, novice quilter, and comic book nerd.
