Fall 2021 Return

Student COVID-19 Vaccination Attestation

All students who are attending in-person classes, living in residence halls, conducting research on campus and participating in any on-campus activities are required to become fully inoculated with an approved COVID-19 vaccine prior to the start of the academic year on Sep 1, 2021 or their arrival on campus.

To record that information, we have created the vaccination attestation form linked below that should be used for both completed vaccinations and exemptions. Attestation via this link is required for anyone who meets the conditions outlined above. Please fill out the information requested even if you have already sent your vaccination or exemption information to the Wellness Center.

Student Emergency Fund

Students clap at commencement

With the support of BSU’s generous donors and federal CARES Act assistance, BSU established a Student Emergency Fund. BSU disbursed approximately $4.5 million in emergency support to students impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Thanks to new funding from a second round of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, BSU will increase student emergency funding by 35% by allocating $6 million in new COVID-19 related student emergency funds and student support this calendar year.
