Ms. Gabruk has over 40 years of experience as a social worker including behavioral health, healthcare, child protection, management, and teaching. She currently works part-time in the Field Education Department at Bridgewater State University’s School of Social Work. She is also a Visiting Lecturer at BSU’s School of Social Work.
Ms. Gabruk recently retired from her position as Chief Operating Officer at Brockton Neighborhood Health Center. Prior to her promotion, she was Director of Social Services. Ms. Gabruk provided leadership for achievement of the health center’s operational goals and assured the overall satisfactory functioning of BNHC. Ms. Gabruk was BNHC’s Executive Lead for the Patient Centered Medical Home initiative and led the health center’s obtainment of NCQA PCMH Recognition. Ms. Gabruk was BNHC’s executive lead for implementation of an ACO model of care. Other areas of leadership include Clinical Care Management, Outreach & Enrollment, Behavioral Health Integration and workflows for service expansion. As COO, she also participated with the Executive Director in developing and enhancing the relationship between the health center and the community. Ms. Gabruk is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Masters Degree in Social Work at Marywood College, Scranton, PA, and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Albright College, Reading, PA. Ms. Gabruk is a graduate of the HRSA Johnson & Johnson/UCLA Health Care Executive Program.
