STUDENT GRANTS FOR RESEARCH AND CREATIVE WORK

Semester Project Grants: We offer funding for any student with research project-related expenses, such as books, laboratory materials, interview and photography equipment, research incentives, art supplies, and travel to field-research sites.

Research Internships: First- and second-year students from underserved groups can work part-time as paid research interns, assisting and collaborating with professors on their scholarly projects.

The Adrian Tinsley Program (ATP) for Undergraduate Research and Creative Work Summer Grants: The Adrian Tinsley Program (ATP) is Bridgewater’s signature undergraduate-research opportunity. ATP Summer Grants of $4,500, plus funding for supplies and other expenses, provide students with rewarding opportunities to conduct in-depth research or creative work for ten weeks in the summer, as they are mentored one-on-one by a professor.

Conference Travel Grants: Bridgewater students accepted to present their work at an academic conference are eligible for Conference Travel Grants that cover travel, lodging, meals, and conference registration fees up to $1,000.
