Student Grants for Research and Creative Work
Semester Project Grants
We offer funding for any student with research project-related expenses, such as books, laboratory materials, interview and photography equipment, research incentives, art supplies, and travel to field-research sites.
Research Internships
First- and second-year students from underserved groups can work part-time as paid research interns, assisting and collaborating with professors on their scholarly projects.
Adrian Tinsley Program (ATP) for Undergraduate Research and Creative Work Summer Grants
The Adrian Tinsley Program (ATP) is Bridgewater’s signature undergraduate-research opportunity. ATP Summer Grants of $4,500, plus funding for supplies and other expenses, provide students with rewarding opportunities to conduct in-depth research or creative work for ten weeks in the summer, as they are mentored one-on-one by a professor.
Conference Travel Grants
Bridgewater students accepted to present their work at an academic conference are eligible for Conference Travel Grants that cover travel, lodging, meals, and conference registration fees up to $1,000.
