Water for Cambodia

A Cambodian NGO, established through the Middletown Rhode Island Rotary Club and international partners, that builds and installs biosand water filters in village homes to produce improved drinking water directly from contaminated sources.

Focused on improved drinking water, literacy classes health and hygiene education in Siem Reap province and floating villages on the Tonle Sap Lake, BSU staff and students work side by side with WfC staff through their filter installation programs. CAWST

A Calgary based non-profit organization, CAWST (Centre for Affordable Water and Sanitation Technology) provides training and consulting to organizations government agencies, community groups and local and international NGOs that work directly with populations in 63 developing countries who lack access to clean water and basic sanitation.

Wavemakers is the educational outreach arm of CAWST that provides teaching resources and activities for engaging students on international water, sanitation and hygiene issues (WASH).
