Student Volunteers

We encourage members of the Bridgewater State University community to become life-long engaged citizens in our local, regional, national, and global communities. Our mission is to provide students with a variety of volunteer and community engagement opportunities in the Southeastern Massachusetts area and beyond.

We serve as a resource for students, staff, and faculty by connecting them to meaningful service opportunities in local and national communities. Through education and reflection, we guide students as they strengthen connections to their personal and professional development.

For more information, contact or call (508) 531-2446.

Annual Events
Throughout the year we invite students, staff and faculty to participate in events that celebrate engagement and inspire volunteerism.

The Community Service Center organizes opportunities for students to volunteer both on campus and in the community.
Alternative Break Trips
Immersion trips provide opportunities for students to spend their winter or spring break volunteering in another community.
