The SSW offers students opportunities to expand their learning beyond the traditional classroom through domestic and international travel courses.
Recent Offerings Include:

  • International Study: Belize, South Africa
  • Domestic Travel: Washington, DC (in collaboration with another university)

Travel course offerings vary each year and reflect our commitment to global perspectives, cultural humility, and experiential learning.

Affordability and Student Support

We recognize that affordability is a critical concern for students pursuing social work education. The School of Social Work has received funding from several foundations that help reduce financial barriers for students. These funds support innovative program models and help mitigate the stress of educational costs. Read more about funding for BSU School of Social Work students.
