Elementary Education Online & Night Degree Program
BSU is one of the premier educational universities in Massachusetts and produces more teachers than any higher education institution in the Commonwealth. Bridgewater State was founded in 1840 as a teacher’s college and has continued to serve as a center of teaching excellence for more than 180 years.
Elementary Education will be offered as an online program and as a night degree program.
Our educational programs prepare students to be exceptional educators through our focus on education and a liberal studies curriculum. This program provides students with the ultimate flexibility. Students who select the Elementary Education, BSE, wish to be elementary teachers and are pursuing a public school teaching license for grades 1-6.
The BSU Advantage
Flexible & Independent: Online degree students possess the flexibility to pursue their degree on their own schedule. Our program provides added flexibility by allowing students to add night or day courses to their schedules.
Same degree & curriculum: Our online programs follow the same rigorous requirements and curriculum as our day and night programs. Many of our experienced faculty members teach online courses.
Simple admission process: The Continuing Studies application is streamlined and takes only a few minutes to complete. No essay required.
Transfer-friendly: We accept up to 69 credits from a two-year institution and up to 90 credits from a four-year institution whether you earned your credits three months ago or more than 30 years ago.
Financial Aid: BSU's online baccalaureate degree completion programs are accredited programs. Financial aid is available to individuals who qualify.
Fully Accredited: Bridgewater State University is accredited by The New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE).
