Sustainability Program

Advocating for Sustainability at BSU and Beyond

The mission of the Sustainability Program (formerly the Center for Sustainability) is to advocate for the integration of sustainability principles at Bridgewater State University into teaching and learning, faculty-mentored undergraduate research, internships and student sustainability literacy.

BSU’s Sustainability Program offers the Sustainability Innovation and Outreach Minor, as well as plenty of extracurricular opportunities such as internship opportunities, undergraduate research opportunities, a permaculture garden and student club (EAT). The Sustainability Program also hosts events like webinars, field trips, career panels, and research symposiums during Sustainability Week in November and Sustainability Month in April.
