Dr. Kate McLaren-Poole, Director of Institutional Research
Kate McLaren-Poole, Ph.D. serves as the Director of Institutional Research and is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the activities of the office. In addition, she provides leadership for the research activities of the University to support accountability, continuous improvement, data-informed decision-making and student success. Dr. McLaren-Poole has expertise in research methods, statistical analysis, and data visualization. She is also a member of the Leading for Change Diversity Consortium Planning Committee.
Rebecca Mushet, Associate Director of Institutional Research
Rebecca Mushet serves as Associate Director of Institutional Research and is responsible for the extraction, maintenance, and analysis of core institutional data from Administrative Systems in order to ensure data integrity and accuracy and prepare reports that support decision-making and planning at the University. Rebecca oversees all mandated reporting to state and federal agencies, as well as NECHE and other accreditations. She provides leadership for the University Data Stream initiative, serves as Chair of the Tableau Policy Committee, and is also a member of the Banner Technical Committee.
Morgan Hawes, Assistant Director for Institutional Research
Morgan is responsible for mandated state and federal reporting, including HEIRS II and IPEDS, as well as reporting to other external agencies and ad-hoc requests. She is also responsible for the administration and analysis of several campus-wide surveys, to include Campus Climate, CIRP Freshman Survey, Graduating Senior Survey, and NSSE.
Sophie Petters, Business Intelligence Analyst
Sophie is responsible for analysis and dissemination of institutional data such as for governmental agencies, accrediting bodies, college guidebooks, surveys, and other external agencies. She holds a B.A. degree in Quantitative Studies and Applied Statistics and has skills in statistical analysis, reporting, and data visualization.
