Jennifer Currie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications from Simmons College in Boston and a Master of Education in Student Affairs Counseling from Bridgewater State University. As the Director, her responsibilities include all aspects of support for incoming international students from before arrival until graduation. Jen organizes programming such as orientation, off-campus trips and on-campus events. Jen also serves as the Primary Designated School Official (PDSO) and Responsible Officer (RO).
Jen has traveled to Belize, Canada, England, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Spain. She would like to go to Australia, Ireland, Italy, Puerto Rico!
Justin Casey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Education in Student Affairs Counseling from Bridgewater State University. Justin serves as a Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO). He advises international students and scholars on information necessary to maintaining their status. He also maintains the SEVIS database and generates immigration documents. He is the advisor to BSU's International Culture Club, an organization open to all BSU students.
Justin has traveled to Dominican Republic, Iceland, Peru, Japan, Switzerland, Italy, France, England, Ireland, Canada and the Bahamas. He would like to travel anywhere and everywhere!
While earning her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Saint Michael’s College Kristen discovered her passion for working with International Students. Kristen serves as the primary administrative support for International Student and Scholar Services. She provides support with programming and organizes the departmental budget. She also assists the Associate Director in managing the International Scholar House and responds to student and scholar inquiries.
Kristen grew up on the west coast (in Alaska) and the east coast (Cape Cod, Massachusetts). She studied abroad in Madrid, Spain for a semester and has traveled to Portugal and Italy. She would love to have the opportunity to return to Alaska someday and to travel to Asia, Europe, and South America.
