Continuing Studies Elementary Education program (available online and night)
Elementary and early childhood teachers are among a child’s first influences. If education is your calling, prepare to positively shape children’s lives with an early childhood or elementary education degree from Bridgewater State University.
BSU began as a teacher’s college, and we pride ourselves on our history of training exceptional educators. Our early childhood education and elementary education programs are among our most popular, and they will prepare you to become an exceptional teacher of children up to age 8. We offer a wide range of early childhood and elementary education programs.
Continuing Studies programs are designed to provide busy students with options to pursue a degree in a flexible format. Our Elementary Education program is available online and at night. All of our online and night programs follow the same curriculum and standards of our day program, including the requirement for field work and student teaching which must be conducted during daytime hours in a school setting.
Please Note: Elementary Education majors are required to carry a second major. A list of recommended second majors is listed below.
