Annual costs include tuition charges of $910 per year for Massachusetts residents/$7,050 per year for out-of-state residents and mandatory fees of $9,822 per year. Students enrolled in 12-17 credits are considered full-time students. Room & board costs $12,686, consisting of the Gold Dining Plan and a double room in Shea-Durgin Hall. Actual room & board cost may vary based on residence hall and meal plan selected.

Part-Time Students

Massachusetts residents are billed at $443.25/credit hour. Out-of-state residents are billed at $699.25/credit hour for day courses and $443.25/credit hour for evening courses. Students enrolled in 11 credits or fewer are considered part-time students and are charged per credit. See a complete list of tuition and fees per credit.

Financial Aid

To be considered for financial aid, students must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the published priority deadline of March 1.

Additional Costs

Students should estimate $800/year for books. For students needing Health Insurance, please budget an additional $3,444 per year to be enrolled in the BSU plan. (Hospitalization/Major Medical Coverage is required for all undergraduate students carrying 9 credits or more by Massachusetts state law. Students who possess alternate coverage must complete the online waiver for Bridgewater-provided coverage by the deadline to avoid being automatically enrolled in the school’s plan.)

Graduate Students

A typical graduate course is 3 credits or $1,425.75 total, with tuition and fees.

Undergraduate courses in the College of Continuing Studies begin at 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, and include all day Saturday, and Sunday.
