Tuition and Fees 2019-2020

Prepare for your professional success with experience that rivals private institutions – at public university tuition and fees.

Undergraduate Students

When weighing the cost of attending college, it is important to consider the “total cost of attendance,” as financial aid awards are based on this amount—not only those costs billed by the University, such as tuition and fees. For many of our students, these expenses are offset by grants and scholarships.

Massachusetts Residents (annual costs)

Mass. Resident Living on Campus Commuting to Campus
Tuition & Fees $10,732 $10,732
Room & Meal Plan $13,300 $0
Books $800 $800
Miscellaneous (not billed by BSU)* $2,644 $3,544

Non-Massachusetts Residents (annual costs)

Non-Mass. Resident Living on Campus Commuting to Campus

Room & Meal Plan $13,300 $0
Books $800 $800

*Miscellaneous costs not billed by BSU: Transportation and Personal Expenses

The total cost of attendance is an estimate of costs billed by BSU and other costs you may incur while attending BSU. The costs of housing, meal plan, books and miscellaneous expenses noted above are average costs. If you plan on living off campus and renting an apartment, please contact the Financial Aid Office at finaid@bridgew.edu or 508.531.1341 to better understand your cost of attendance.

Things to Know

Obtaining Massachusetts residency in an aim to pay in-state-resident tuition and fees is difficult for undergraduate students with parents who are non-Mass. residents (this includes transfer students from community colleges and other post-secondary institutions within Massachusetts). Most non-Mass. resident undergraduates with nonresident parents are considered nonresidents for the duration of their undergraduate career at BSU.
