Homecoming 2021 Schedule of Events

Join our students, alumni, families, and friends for one of our largest annual gatherings to celebrate campus pride and experience BSU life. Please check back for additional details and information. Details are still being finalized and subject to change.

Spirit Week kicks off on Monday, October 18 with events throughout the week leading up to Homecoming. For our students, this is a cherished tradition celebrating BSU pride and community.

Department Spirit Decorating Contest All Week Participating Department Spaces Across Campus Administrative and Academic Departments are invited to showcase their BSU Spirit by decorating their space for the week. Decorating must be complete by end of business on Monday, October 18 and should remain up for through October 23.
GooseChase Mobile Scavenger Hunt All Week   Students are encouraged to complete a series of challenges via the GooseChase App. Show off your spirit, answer some BSU trivia and see if you can earn the most points!
Student Banner Competition All Week Rondileau Student Union Student Organizations and other student groups (residence halls, teams, etc.) are invited to decorate a banner that will be displayed during the week. Banners must showcase BSU spirit and will be featured at  Homecoming.

Field Hockey Game 7 p.m. Swenson Field BSU vs. UMass Dartmouth
Spirit Week Casino Night 8 - 10 p.m. Rondileau Student Union Ballroom Students are invited to take a chance at the Spirit Week Casino! Table games will be available, with a prize drawing at the end for all in attendance. Currently enrolled students only; no guests at this event.

Ten of BSU’s Seniors will compete in a fun-filled showcase of talent and spirit as they strive to be the 2021 Homecoming Champion. Attendees will have the chance to vote to help select the winner! The Champion will be announced at Saturday’s Bristaco’s Block Party.
