Public School Districts
Contact the BSU EXCEL program staff to set up a meeting to discuss the partnership agreement. Once a partnership is established, districts may recommend students for the program based on eligibility criteria (see Admission Requirements tab). EXCEL program staff will send the applications to partnering districts in the fall for the following academic year. Districts will then disperse applications to students and families who meet the program's eligibility criteria.
Interested students and families
Contact your district's special education teacher or transition specialist to discuss the district's potential participation in the BSU EXCEL program. If your district establishes a partnership with the BSU EXCEL program, they will receive applications in the fall for the following academic year. Districts may then recommend students to apply to the BSU EXCEL program based on eligibility criteria (see Admission Requirements). At that time, districts will disperse applications to students and families who meet the program's eligibility criteria.

EXCEL Program Information Session
Interested students, families, and districts are encouraged to attend the EXCEL program Virtual Information Session. The EXCEL staff will offer a comprehensive overview of the program including new private pay options. EXCEL students and peer mentors host an informative panel where they share their experiences and field questions from the audience.
