Through the Department of Physics, Photonics and Optical Engineering, you may tailor your undergraduate program to earn a minor, a bachelor of physics or a bachelor of photonics and optical engineering that fits your interests and career goals. The Physical Science, MA graduate program is designed to assist middle and high school teachers increase fluency in the content, pedagogy and history of physical science. The program provides a pathway for advancing a Massachusetts Initial License to a Professional License.

Honors Program
All degree programs offer exciting opportunities for research. Our students collaborate with faculty on research projects and have a significant impact on their own educational experiences. Our goal is to inspire in them a lifelong fascination with the physical properties of nature and the complexity, simplicity, and beauty of natural laws.
